Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP is proud to announce that Indianapolis attorney Tamara McMillian has been named a “20 Under 40” attorney of 2012 by the Just The Beginning Foundation. The Just The Beginning Foundation (JTBF) has honored 20 young attorneys from around the country who exemplify their mission of providing pipeline programs directly aimed at inspiring young students and increasing diversity in the legal profession.
“The JTBF’s recognition of Tamara shows how much regional impact our attorneys possess, especially through their work in community programs,” said W. Tobin McClamroch, Co-Chairman of the firm. “We are proud of Tamara for earning this honor and are excited to see her efforts publically recognized.”
McMillian and the other 19 honorees were recognized on Sept. 20, 2012 at the Northwestern University Law School, as part of the JTBF’s 20th Anniversary Conference in Chicago.
McMillian is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and her background includes time spent working in corporate and consultation services. She has been involved with the JTBF for the last three years, which has included her presenting for the foundation in Indianapolis. She is a former winner of the Indianapolis Bar Association’s “Nod to Professionalism” award. She currently serves on the board of the Forest Manor Multi-Service Center and also served as the Chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association Diversity Job Fair Committee.
