The Library of Congress recently announced its newest list of exemptions to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act’s (DMCA) prohibition against circumventing digital rights management measures.Individuals continue to be permitted to “jailbreak” their mobile phones, but such permission does not yet extend to tablets.

There are many reasons why a client may choose to utilize an irrevocable trust as part of the client’s estate plan.  These include avoiding or minimizing transfer tax and asset protection planning.  However, individuals are often reluctant to proceed with prudent planning because of their concerns about transfers to irrevocable trusts.  These concerns are generally centered around relinquishing control over the assets, and the inability to make changes to the irrevocable trust strategy if changes in tax laws or personal circumstances dictate.

On Sept. 21, Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP attorney Michael B. Davis had the opportunity to be the PA Announcer for the “Clash of the Titans” high school game between Brebeuf Jesuit Prep School and Roncalli High School. There was one small difference in this game though; the game was played at Lucas Oil Stadium. The game provided Davis with a challenging experience because he had to utilize everything at his disposal while looking down from the NFL stadium’s skybox.
