Attorney Michael B. Davis Describes Experience as PA Announcer at Lucas Oil Stadium
Posted in Real Estate

On Sept. 21, Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP attorney Michael B. Davis had the opportunity to be the PA Announcer for the “Clash of the Titans” high school game between Brebeuf Jesuit Prep School and Roncalli High School. There was one small difference in this game though; the game was played at Lucas Oil Stadium. The game provided Davis with a challenging experience because he had to utilize everything at his disposal while looking down from the NFL stadium’s skybox.

“It is a long way down and I couldn’t really see the players’ numbers on the field,” Davis chuckled. “I found myself depending on the monitors a lot because I wasn’t able to see the players’ numbers from up that high.”

Davis is in his first year calling Brebeuf Jesuit home games, after calling the school’s (and his daughter’s) lacrosse games the year before. He acquired the new opportunity after the school’s athletic director was impressed with the work he did on last year’s lacrosse games and asked if he would take over the football duties. This job included a pleasant surprise for Davis in announcing the “Clash of the Titans” game because of Brebeuf Jesuit being named the “home” team for the game.

“I really enjoyed it! It was a great experience to learn what a professional announcing environment is like,” Davis exclaimed. “It was very different because of all the promotions and the scripts I had to incorporate into the game, but it was fun and I’d love to do it again.”

Michael B. Davis focuses his practice in real estate development, finance, land planning and transactional work.
