Best of Bingham: Indianapolis Entrepreneur Named National NAWBO Chair
Posted in Womens Forum

For years, Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP and the Bingham Greenebaum Doll Women’s Forum have supported the Indianapolis chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, or NAWBO, as a gold-level corporate sponsor. On a national level, Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP is also pleased to sponsor the organization, as well as the NAWBO Women’s Business Conference, and serve as national counsel for NAWBO. Through our support of NAWBO and regular attendance at events, we have been lucky to get to know many of the women business owners who are served by and who serve NAWBO. Among those women is Billie Dragoo, a lifelong Hoosier and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the medical staffing industry.

Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP and the Bingham Greenebaum Doll Women’s Forum congratulate Billie on her recent appointment as board chairwoman for the National Association of Women Business Owners for 2013-2014!

Billie, who is a past president and member of the board of advisors for the Indianapolis chapter, has been on the national board of directors since 2009. She is also the founder of the Indiana Women Business Owner’s Political Action Committee and was appointed by the mayor of Indianapolis as a board member of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee. She has also served on the board of the Department of Workforce Development’s State Workforce Innovation Council. Though Billie’s impact and reputation have taken her beyond Indiana, she continues to be a dedicated member of our local Indianapolis community, actively working to bring national NAWBO events to our city.

Billie, thank you for your friendship and passion for women in business, and congratulations on all of your achievements!

You can read more about Billie’s accomplishments and her duties as board chairwoman in this recent Indianapolis Business Journal article.

The Best of Bingham is a series of posts by the Bingham Greenebaum Doll Women’s Forum recognizing the professional and community successes of our members, our colleagues and our clients.
