BGD Women’s Forum Hosts Encore Wine and Canvas Event
Posted in General

On Thursday, June 27, the Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP Women’s Forum hosted an encore Wine and Canvas event for women who work as in-house counsel at local businesses. After their first Wine and Canvas event was successfully held in December, the Women’s Forum decided to host this event again. The event provided an opportunity to have fun and connect women working as in-house counsel to each other and to the members of the Women’s Forum that otherwise may not meet in the course of everyday business.

For those who attended the event, the evening was filled with laughter, relaxation and lots of paint. The relaxed atmosphere brought many out of their comfort zones who did not have prior experience painting. The class was led by a local artist who took them step by step through the creation of a painting depicting the sky viewed from the bottom of the woods. The event received a lot of positive feedback during and after the event. One woman even said that Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP has the “hippest” events.

The Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP Women’s Forum emphasizes mentoring, fostering relationships and open communication among our female attorneys, clients and professional colleagues. These are the key elements in creating a culture of success for women. While many Women’s Forum members spend much of their time focusing on providing quality legal services to their clients, they also find strengthening relationships to be valuable. This experience gave these women an opportunity to come together outside of the regular work day to enjoy each other’s company and to make new connections.
