Bingham Greenebaum Doll Partner Tandy C. Patrick Has a Surprise Ride on World Champion Horse

Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP partner and equestrian enthusiast Tandy C. Patrick recently had the opportunity to ride a World Champion American Saddlebred horse. Patrick, who is President of the American Saddlebred Horse Association, was on a weekend visit to Mike Robert’s Stables in Columbia, Mo. where the owner of the grand horse invited Tandy to step up on him for a ride. CH Callaway’s Born to Win is a many times World’s Champion American Saddlebred Five-Gaited horse owned and shown by renowned equestrian instructor Gayle Lampe.

CH Callaway’s Born to Win has been ranked by the United States Equestrian Federation as the National Five-Gaited Open Horse of the Year for 2004, 2006 and 2007. In 2007, Gayle Lampe and Born to Win won thirteen classes, including the Ladies Five Gaited Championship at the Lexington Junior League Horse Show and the inaugural Pink Ribbon Class, which was the Ladies Five Gaited Championship at the American Royal National Horse Show in Kansas City, Mo. In 2009, Lampe won the World Champion Ladies Five-Gaited gelding title with Born to Win. A video of Patrick on Born to Win can be seen here.

Patrick, who is a lifelong horse owner, breeder and exhibitor, has experience representing various horse owners and breeders from several states, and is a member of the American College of Equine Attorneys. She is an active part of the equine industry in Lexington, throughout the state, and on an international level. In addition to serving as President of the ASHA, Patrick is a member of the Kentucky Saddlebred Owners and Breeders Association, a member of the United States Equestrian Federation Saddlebred Committee, and a member of the United Professional Horsemen’s Association, where she serves on the Finance, American Royal and Classics Committees.
