Looking Back and Ahead: Recapping the 2013 Bingham Greenebaum Doll Legislative Conference

As we close out 2013 and another successful Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP Legislative Conference, we’re pleased to know that we’ve had a hand in helping to kick off the 2014 legislative session.  Nearly 300 conference attendees heard from Indiana’s top leaders, decision-makers and policy analysts. Attendees also had the distinct opportunity to be the first to hear about Governor Mike Pence’s 2014 legislative priorities during his distinguished keynote speech.

Other hot topics discussed at the conference included gaming, infrastructure, local government, the state’s 2014-2015 budget, K-12 education, updates to lobbying and ethics law and policy, health care reform, and workforce development. We were also pleased to have the popular media panel wrap up the conference again this year, which was moderated by Jim Shella of WISH-TV and featured panelists Eric Berman of WIBC and Network Indiana, Amos Brown of WTLC-AM and Radio One/Indianapolis, Niki Kelly of the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette and Lesley Weidenbener of
