Mark A. Loyd to Present at Southwest Ohio Tax Update

Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP partner Mark A. Loyd will present at the Ohio Society of CPAs’ “Southwest Ohio Tax Update” on Jan. 9, 2013. Mark’s presentation, “Kentucky and Indiana Tax Update: What’s Going on Across the Border,” will be held from 2:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Mark will review the latest judicial, statutory and administrative developments in Kentucky and Indiana. He will also discuss Kentucky’s Tax Amnesty program and the Rent-A-Center East case in which the Indiana Supreme Court reversed a taxpayer win. Loyd will explain the potential impact of these developments in Ohio and other states, as well as provide an update on the Kentucky Blue Ribbon Tax Commission. Mark, partner and State and Local Tax Team leader, is a member of the firm’s Tax and Finance Practice Group. His areas of practice concentration are state, local and federal tax controversy resolution, litigation and planning. He has counseled and advocated for clients with issues involving state and local income, gross receipts, sales and use, property, franchise/license and various excise taxes. He is also co-chair of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation/American Bar Association Advanced Property Tax seminar committee.
