LCLD MEMBER FIRM
Our firm is a proud member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), a national organization made up of the general counsel and managing partners of the leading corporations and law firms in the country, working to build a more open and diverse legal profession.
Founded in 2009, LCLD has grown to an organization of more than 265 Members. United by a spirit of activism and personal commitment, LCLD Members participate widely in the programs they've created—leading by example, taking action, and challenging the legal profession to prepare future generations of diverse talent for the highest positions of leadership.
In addition, BGD Partner and Diversity & Inclusion Committee Chair Tonya Vachirasomboon (pictured) has been selected as a 2017 LCLD Fellow, one of most comprehensive legal talent development programs in the country. Tonya is part of the largest class ever for the landmark LCLD program focused on building relationships and leadership skills.
RECRUITING EFFORTS: DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS AND PERSPECTIVES
BGD actively pursues opportunities to engage with people of various backgrounds who are interested in the legal profession.
We are one of the three leading sponsors of the Indianapolis Bar Association (IndyBar) annual Diversity Job Fair. This event is one of the region’s largest job fairs focused on connecting diverse candidates with career opportunities in Indianapolis, a city with a thriving tech economy and amenities that cater to the needs of highly-skilled professionals. We also proudly provide a $2,500 scholarship to a deserving student interviewing at the IndyBar Diversity Job Fair every year as an effort to support the pipeline of diverse legal talent.
Our attorneys also participate in several minority job fairs throughout the year, including the ABA Council on Legal Education Opportunity.

The Bingham Greenebaum Doll Women’s Forum facilitates opportunities for women clients, business owners and community leaders. Our focus on serving professional women through community involvement, networking and thought leadership sets us apart in the legal community.
