Frohlich, associate professor of operations management at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business - Indianapolis, and Dr. Steven L. Jones, associate professor of finance at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business - Indianapolis, discuss the results from this fifth annual survey.
Company executives and managers from across Indiana participated in this current edition of the survey. Participants spanned the supply chain from manufacturers to second-tier suppliers.
Based upon the findings for 2011, Hoosier manufacturers are squarely at a crossroads in terms of their strategic direction. While all Indiana manufacturers have been challenged by the recession and competition in recent years, many opportunities are ahead for those companies ready to take advantage of them.
