"Lending Tales That Make You Go Hmmm" Session Details
As the economy improves, business lenders are focusing on closing deals. While this is great, lenders should not lose sight of the importance of the details with regard to collateral. This topic has become even more important with the wide-spread use automated loan documentation software. Even good loans can go bad and lenders need to be assured that they are fully perfected/protected if such an event occurs. This session will give with specific examples on perfection issues, enforceability issues, lender liability issues and bankruptcy issues.
The Indiana Bankers Association Mega Conference is the largest state banker association meeting in the country. Sessions and tracks will discuss a range of topics regarding retail banking, risk management, trust, compliance, business lending, financial management and human resources. The IBA has submitted the conference agenda for CLE, CPE, ICB, CFP and SPHR credit.
