The Indiana Law Update™ remains one of the finest scholarly reviews of the substantive trends, changes and developments in Indiana law across a diverse array of practice areas. This year's update will offer scholarly reviews of the latest trends, developments and changes within Indiana law. The program also donates a portion of all proceeds to law student scholarships at each of the four Indiana law schools. To register, please visit the ICLEF website.
The program first began in 1979 under the late Robert H. Staton. Judge Staton was elected to the Indiana Appellate Court in 1970, which later became the Court of Appeals in Indiana. He served from Jan. 1971 to March 15, 2000. Staton was the first editor of Res Gestae, the law journal of the Indiana State Bar Association, was a past president of the Indiana State Bar Association and authored many state law histories.
