ICLEF Program – “Estate Planning for Gray Divorces”
Join Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP partner James Reed and of counsel Lisa B. Goddy at ICLEF’s “Estate Planning for Gray Divorces” program on Jan. 30, 2015.
A “gray divorce” refers to the divorce of an American couple over the age of 50 - a phenomenon that has doubled since 1990. In a gray divorce, each spouse tends to leave the marriage with assets that are far different from members of any other divorcing age group. This program will walk attendees through several key planning steps when faced with this difficult situation like involving a financial advisor, interim estate planning before the divorce is final, the role of life insurance and pre-marital agreements for subsequent relationships.
Reed also previously discussed the “gray divorce revolution” in the Indiana Lawyer.
ICLEF is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to providing high quality, live, interactive webcasts and on demand seminars to Indiana attorneys and attorneys around the world for continued legal education.
This program is a live seminar or webcast. It has been approved for 1 CLE credit.
