ICLEF Program - Municipal Law Update
Beesley will open the seminar and provide a brief overview of the programing. Session topics will cover:
- Public purchasing and bidding;
- Open Door Law and access to public records;
- Land use issues;
- Code enforcement; and
- Public safety and public employment litigation.
DeVries will kick off the program at 9 a.m. co-presenting the “Public Finance and Economic Development” session addressing best practices and case law.
McGoff will close the seminar with “Ethics Matters in Municipal Law.” This session will round out the day’s teaching discussing the role ethics plays in municipal law.
This program is a live seminar or webcast. It has been approved for 6 CLE credits and 1 Ethics credit. Beesley served as chair of the “Municipal Law Update” seminar, and was instrumental in the recruiting of session speakers.
