John R. Gregg to Judge 2013 National Invitational Public Policy Challenge

The Second Annual National Invitational Public Policy Challenge will take place in Philadelphia, Penn., March 16-17, 2013. Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP Partner John R. Gregg has been chosen to judge from among Governing magazine’s past Public Officials of the Year. Gregg was the 2002 Governing Public Official of the Year for serving as the Democratic Speaker of the Indiana House of Representatives.

The National Invitational Public Policy Challenge is hosted by the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania with Governing magazine. It challenges student teams to develop a policy proposal and civic campaign plan to achieve significant change in their hometowns.

In the First Round on Saturday, March 16, nine teams will compete for one of the top four spots to win $5,000. In the Finals on Sunday, March 17, the top five teams will compete for the chance to win the grand-prize of $10,000 to kick-start their policy proposals.
