Lexington Breakfast Briefing
Employers’ Liabilities Are Increasing In The Workplace – I-9 Notices of Inspection, New State Laws Mandating E-Verify and H-1B Site Visits/Audits.
Employers are liable and could be subject to fines and sanctions regardless of whether or not they employ foreign workers. We will provide you with updates regarding the increasing number of Notices of Inspections being issued by the Department of Homeland Security; increased H-1B site visits; and State laws mandating use of E-Verify by most of all employers over the next few years. Most importantly, we will discuss ways for employers to minimize their risks and liabilities by implementation of internal I-9 and immigration policies.
