BGD’s Rafael Sanchez to Lobby for Indianapolis 2018 Super Bowl Bid

clientuploads/IndySB2018bid.jpegUPDATE 4:06 PM: According to the Indianapolis Bid Commitee Twitter account, the 2018 Super Bowl will be hosted by Minneapolis.

NFL team owners are meeting in Atlanta this week to vote on the host city for the 2018 Super Bowl. Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP partner Rafael Sanchez is a member of Indianapolis’ bid committee; he joins team owners and other bid committee members this week in Atlanta to lobby for Indianapolis to secure the bid.

Indianapolis, the host of the 2012 Super Bowl, is hoping an ambitious project to study safety issues in the NFL, as well as a plan to expand the widely successful 2012 Super Bowl Village concept, will convince the team owners to award the city the 2018 Super Bowl over the other two final contenders, Minneapolis and New Orleans.

Voting on the host city takes this afternoon and is expected to last several hours. Read more about Indianapolis’ bid proposal on the Indiana Business Journal website.
