Greenebaum Announces New Leaders for Three of its Offices

Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC has announced that Richard S. Cleary has been named Member-in-Charge of the firm’s Louisville office and David A. Owen, Member-in-Charge of the firm’s Lexington and Frankfort offices.

Rich, who joined Greenebaum following graduation from Georgetown University Law Center, succeeds Jeffrey A. McKenzie, who recently was named Chairman of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Rich has served as Chairman of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group since 1996 and is a member of the firm’s executive and management committees. He is a member of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and has been recognized by Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America as a leading practitioner. In 2006, Rich was elected to serve a four year term as a Council Member of the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law.

Currently, Rich serves on the Governor’s Advisory Board for the 2008 Ryder Cup. He also has served on the National Alumni Boards of Washington and Lee University (where he received a B.A. in economics) and of Georgetown University Law Center. He has been a management representative of the University of Louisville Labor-Management Center Advisory Board since 1986 and is a graduate of Leadership Louisville.

David succeeds outgoing Member-in-Charge, Job D. Turner III. David represents businesses in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters. His litigation practice includes environmental, toxic tort, anti-trust and construction matters, as well as all types of business disputes. He also counsels clients on environmental permitting and enforcement matters.

David obtained his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his law degree from the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Commerce Lexington and served as Chairman of the Public Policy Council in 2004-2005.
