BGD Attorney Alex Rodger Wins Greater Cincinnati Golf Association’s Metropolitan Amateur Championship


Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP attorney Alex S. Rodger recently won the 108th playing of the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association’s Tony Blom Metropolitan Amateur Championship. The “Met” is one of the oldest and largest regional championships in the country.

Alex won all six of his matches at Hamilton Elks Golf Club, including a 4&3 victory in his final match, to become this year’s Met Champion. Rodger was runner-up on his first try at last year's Met Championship. 

Prior to attending law school, Rodger attended Pepperdine University and was a member of the Men’s Golf Team. He began a successful professional golf career upon graduation, playing all over the world and earning seven professional victories. Following his professional golf career, Rodger attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

At BGD, Rodger is an associate in the firm’s Litigation department where he focuses on wide-ranging commercial and business litigation.
