“It’s one of those sports that sucks you in,” says Bri Clark, 30, an attorney with Bingham Greenebaum Doll who will be competing Saturday in the fourth annual Indy Criterium in Downtown Indianapolis.
“I love the competition and the strategy of it and my teammates, too,” said Clark, a member of the Racing for Riley Team. She won the top women’s race at last year’s Indy Crit.
The Indy Criterium Cycling Race and Festival is the state’s biggest such road racing event. It will draw more than 500 of the Midwest’s top professional and amateur cyclists. And 3,000 to 4,000 spectators are expected for a full day of activities in University Park.
