BGD Attorney Honored as 2014 IBF Distinguished Fellow
Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP is pleased to announce that Tamara L. McMillian has been named a 2014 Distinguished Fellow by the Indianapolis Bar Foundation (IBF). She has participated in a variety of IBF projects, as well as helped raise money for the Impact Fund grant that goes to a deserving community initiative each year. Each year the Indianapolis Bar Foundation honors individuals for their dedication to the law by bestowing on them the designation of Distinguished Fellow. This small but select group is chosen by the Directors of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation as a result of their significant contributions to the legal profession and their community.
McMillian works in the firm’s Indianapolis office where she is a member of the Litigation practice group. In addition to her practice, McMillian is involved with several local legal and professional organizations. McMillian also serves as the 2014 Marion County Bar Association Treasurer. Earlier this year, she presented for the Just the Beginning Foundation to high school students interested in the legal profession. In 2011, McMillian chaired the Diversity Job Fair Committee for the Indianapolis Bar Association.
