BGD Attorney Jeffrey A. McKenzie Weighs in on the Future of Law Firms
In case you missed it, Jeffrey A. McKenzie weighed in on what the future looks like for young attorneys in a recent issue of Louisville Business First.
Technology and economics are the driving forces behind the changing legal market, a portent of the legal landscape. McKenzie has seen this changing dynamic firsthand in attorney/client communication, saying, “There’s no delay in this process anymore.”
McKenzie, who is a member of the firm’s Partnership Board, recognizes the value of technology in creating value for clients in the coming decade. The push for law firms to be “faster, better and more integrated,” has shown McKenzie that “clients are after both efficiency and value from their law firm.” The new technology will help attorneys practice more efficiently, creating a leaner environment for the next generation of attorneys, he said.
McKenzie is a member of the Corporate and Transactional practice croup, and the chair of the Mergers, Acquisitions and Business Advisory Team and co-chair of the Beverage Alcohol Team.
