BGD Attorney Named IBF Donor of the Month
This month’s Indianapolis Bar Foundation Donor of the Month is Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP partner Karl Mulvaney. Mulvaney is a longtime IBF volunteer and donor, and currently serves as counsel to the IBF Board of Directors.
The IBF website features a Q&A with Mulvaney. One of the questions posed to Mulvaney is why he wanted to become a lawyer.
“I was not the person who knew I wanted to be a lawyer growing up,” said Mulvaney. “I had an uncle who was a lawyer, but by senior year in college I was convinced it was a great way to help people and make a positive contribution to society—so I applied to IU-McKinney while overseas in the service—thank goodness Dean Kent Frandsen overlooked an average LSAT.”
At BGD, Mulvaney practices in the areas of appellate, litigation and disciplinary law. He is a 1977 cum laude graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Mulvaney earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1977 and is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State, Seventh Circuit and American Bar Associations.
The complete Q&A session with Mulvaney can be read on the IBF website. He discusses his very first case, what he thinks is the most challenging part of being a lawyer and more.
