Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP Welcomes Keith Swedo


INDIANAPOLIS (May 22, 2014) - Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP is pleased to welcome patent attorney Keith J. Swedo to the firm’s Indianapolis office. He will serve the Corporate & Transactional practice group as Of Counsel. He has significant experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications; providing patentability, validity and infringement opinions; drafting and prosecuting trademark applications; providing trademark opinions; litigating patent and trademark matters; providing copyright registration and enforcement; and drafting and negotiating licensing agreements.

Bice, co-chair of the practice group. “He has over 100 published patents and publications from the last 10 years, and we are excited about the knowledge and experience he can bring to our firm so that we can better serve our clients.”

Before joining BGD, Keith was a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. He served the Intellectual Property practice group and concentrated his practice in all areas of intellectual property law including patents, trademarks and copyrights. Before attending law school, he was an electrical engineer in the advanced development group of Delphi Automotive Corporation.

Keith received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1985 and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University in 1989. He graduated from Indiana University School of Law with his law degree in 1995.

Keith is a member of the Indiana Bar Association and is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and also licensed to practice in Indiana.
