Bingham McHale Elects New Member to Management Committee
Bingham McHale LLP announced today that Phillip Fowler, partner and vice chair of the Litigation Department, was elected to the management committee of the firm, effective October 14, 2011. W. Tobin McClamroch, Managing Partner was re-elected to the management committee, also effective October 14. In addition, McClamroch was named to another term as Managing Partner.

Bingham McHale LLP is governed by a four-person management committee. The management committee is responsible for naming the managing partner. Dwayne Isaacs, partner and past chair of the Business Advisory Department, and Mary Solada, partner and chair of the Real Estate Department will continue on for the duration of their two year term.
Phillip Fowler focuses his practice in the representation of corporate clients and their owners, officers and directors in complex business litigation. He serves as vice chair of the firm’s Litigation Department. Phil earned a bachelor’s degree with high distinction from the Indiana University School of Business in 1994, where he was awarded the Leete Thompson Memorial Scholarship. He earned his J.D. from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1997. During law school, he served as the law clerk for the Honorable David Wells of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.
Phil serves on committees of both the Indianapolis Zoo and the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. He is a past chair of the Litigation Section of the Indiana State Bar Association. In 2010, Phil received the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award from the Indianapolis Bar Association.
W. Tobin McClamroch is a senior corporate and government lawyer. He is the co-chair of the Bingham McHale Legislative Conference, an annual event held prior to the Indiana General Assembly session that offers first-hand information from legislators, elected officials and key decision makers from around the state. McClamroch earned his bachelor’s degree from DePauw University. He is a 1980 graduate of the Indiana University School of Law.
McClamroch brings a depth of knowledge from across municipal and state government to the firm’s practice. He is a former Parliamentarian to the Indiana House of Representatives and the Indianapolis City-County Council Majority Leader. He serves on the board of directors of Marian University, the Arts Council of Indianapolis, Special Olympics of Indiana, the 100 Club and most recently joined the board of the Indiana Sports Corp. He previously served as president of the Catholic Community Foundation and is the former chairman of the United Catholic Association, Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Mary Solada is experienced in all aspects of real estate development, zoning and planning law, as well as government services. She serves as the Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate Department. Mary is a 1982 graduate of Indiana University School of Law and was admitted to the Indiana Bar that same year. She earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1978.
Mary routinely represents private sector and government entity clients in a wide range of areas, from real estate acquisition and redevelopment to procurement and land use. She has worked on behalf of developers of renewable and green energy projects, assisting with land use approvals for wind energy projects, lease negotiations and economic incentives for wind development. She has extensive experience representing developers of office, industrial and retail projects. She also served as general counsel for the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County.
Dwayne Isaacs focuses his practice on business and tax planning services primarily for privately-owned business clients and high net worth individuals. He is the past chair of the firm’s Business Advisory Department. Dwayne is a 1989 graduate of Indiana University School of Law and was admitted to the Indiana Bar that same year. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1983.
Dwayne serves as general counsel for many of his business clients. He also serves as an advisor for business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. He has significant experience working with all business entity types including corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and tax exempt organizations. He also has extensive business succession planning experience. Dwayne serves on the board of The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis, Inc. He recently completed his term of service on the board of the Washington Township Schools Foundation, where he also served as president.
