Bingham McHale Elects New Partner to Management Committee

Bingham McHale LLP announced today that Mary Solada, partner and chair of the Real Estate Department, was elected to the management committee of the firm, effective October 22, 2010. Dwayne Isaacs, partner and chair of the Business Advisory Department, was re-elected to a second term, also effective October 22, 2010. Solada and Isaacs were each elected by the partners of Bingham McHale LLP to serve a two-year term on the management committee.

Bingham McHale LLP is governed by a four-person management committee, with elections held for two positions every two years. W. Tobin McClamroch and Kevin McGoff will retain the other two positions, and continue their service to the firm through 2011.

Mary Solada is experienced in all aspects of real estate development, zoning and planning law, as well as government services. She serves as the chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department. Mary is a 1982 graduate of Indiana University School of Law and was admitted to the Indiana Bar that same year. She earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1978.

Mary routinely represents private sector and government entity clients in a wide range of areas, from real estate acquisition and redevelopment to procurement and land use. She has worked on behalf of developers of renewable and green energy projects, assisting with land use approvals for wind energy projects, lease negotiations and economic incentives for wind development. She has extensive experience representing developers of office, industrial and retail projects. She also served as general counsel for the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County.

Dwayne Isaacs focuses his practice on business and tax planning services primarily for privately-owned business clients and high net worth individuals. He serves as the chair of the firm’s Business Services Department. Dwayne is a 1989 graduate of Indiana University School of Law and was admitted to the Indiana Bar that same year. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1983.

Dwayne serves as general counsel for many of his business clients. He also serves as an advisor for business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. He has significant experience working with all business entity types including corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and tax exempt organizations. He also has extensive business succession planning experience. Dwayne serves on the board of The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis, Inc. He recently completed his term of service on the board of the Washington Township Schools Foundation, where he also served as president.
