Bingham McHale Partners Elected to Indianapolis Bar Association Leadership
Bingham McHale LLP announced today that Robin Babbitt, partner and member of the Litigation Department, was elected the 2011 president of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation. Phil Isenbarger, partner and member of the Litigation Department, was elected to the board of directors of the Indianapolis Bar Association (IBA). Kevin McGoff, partner and member of the Litigation Department, was re-elected to the board of directors of the IBA.

Robin Babbitt served as the 2010 vice president of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation. He practices in the areas of administrative law, toxic torts, professional liability defense, products liability and business litigation. Robin graduated magna cum laude in 1980 from Indiana University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville, cum laude, in 1976.
Robin has served as outside counsel to the Indiana Horse Racing Commission since 1993. He has tried several high profile cases to verdict involving doctors, lawyers and public officials. His previous volunteer work includes the Indianapolis Ronald McDonald House and the Boy Scouts of America.
Phil Isenbarger is a distinguished fellow and past president of the IBA. In his practice, he has overseen litigation in a multitude of settings including complex business litigation, products liability, medical and legal malpractice, environmental, fire, trucking, personal injury, antitrust, unfair competition, copyright, trademark, trust, probate and defamation. Phil graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 1984. He was a captain of the 1981 NCAA Champion Indiana University basketball team, and graduated from the Kelley School of Business that same year.
Phil is a lifetime member of the Indiana Alumni Association and is also an I-Association and Varsity Club member. He is a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame where he was inducted as a Silver Anniversary player in 2002. He now serves on the Hall of Fame board. Phil is a volunteer high school basketball coach and also serves the Boone County Special Olympics, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Zionsville Boys Club.
Kevin McGoff has served on the board of the IBA since 2004. He is also a past president of the organization. Kevin represents attorneys and judges in professional licensure matters, assists lawyers and law firms on issues pertaining to firm management, law firm dissolution and organization, malpractice and legal ethics. He graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 1980, and received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1977.
Kevin also practices in the field of family law, and is a frequent speaker on legal ethics. He is a member of the board of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. Kevin previously served the board of trustees for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School, on the board of governors of the Indiana State Bar Association, the board of the Indiana Public Defender Council and the Indiana Supreme Court Commission on the Rules of Evidence.
