Eric L. Ison Reappointed as Chair of the Kentucky Board of Bar Examiners
Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP partner Eric L. Ison has been reappointed to serve as chair of the Kentucky Board of Bar Examiners. This reappointment marks his 12th year as chair of the board and his 20th year serving as the Bar Examiner for the Fourth Supreme Court District.
The Kentucky Board of Bar Examiners is composed of seven attorneys, one from each of the seven Supreme Court Districts in Kentucky. Members are appointed by the Supreme Court of Kentucky for three-year terms. The Board is charged with the responsibility of administering the bar examination (including the writing and grading of the essay questions for the bar examination held in July and February each year) to qualified applicants for admission to the bar of the Commonwealth.
Eric concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, and his clients include a broad range of public companies, private companies, non-profits, individuals and governmental entities. He is experienced in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. Eric has been involved in a wide variety of complex litigation cases, including favorable multi-million dollar jury awards and judgments establishing legal precedents. Eric is also certified as a civil mediator by the Administrative Office of the Courts.
