Event to Offer Manufacturers Speed Networking with Procurement Executives
Indiana manufacturers will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with procurement executives from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) at the next Conexus Indiana Manufacturing Connections event, sponsored by Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP, on March 22, 2012.
The event also includes a one-hour industry panel discussion on supplier development programs offered by OEMs. Panelists include representatives from Rolls Royce and Toyota, and will discuss the standards required for a manufacturing supplier to join an OEM supply chain and their company’s development and improvement programs available to their suppliers. Following the panel discussion, small- to medium-sized manufacturers will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with procurement executives in a speed networking session.
Companies participating in the speed networking session include:
- AM General
- Kem Krest
- Rolls Royce
“A strong supply chain is essential for Indiana manufacturers,” said Steve Dwyer, President of Conexus Indiana. “By learning how to become a successful part of an OEM supply chain, small- to medium-sized manufacturers can build and expand their supplier relationships with OEMs.”
“Our firm is pleased to sponsor this initiative,” said W. Tobin McClamroch, Co-Chairman of Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP. “We understand the importance of manufacturing in our state and regional economies, and we’re proud to partner with Conexus Indiana to create an event that will help Indiana manufacturers.”
