First Kentucky Attorney Awarded FFI Certificate in Family Business Advising
LOUISVILLE, KY: Mark H. Oppenheimer, a Member in Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC’s Louisville office, was the first attorney in Kentucky to be awarded aCertificate in Family Business Advising by the Family Firm Institute (FFI) at its September conference in New York City.
Mark has fulfilled all the requirements for the FFI Certificate in Family Business Advising. The FFI Certificate Program benefits both family business advisors and their clients by establishing knowledge standards for better serving family-owned enterprises.
Mark is a member of Greenebaum’s Estate Planning, Health and Insurance Practice Group, and is the Family Business Team Co-Chair. He concentrates his practice on business succession, estate planning and estate administration for individuals, families and businesses. As an estate planner, Mark develops and implements plans for the preservation of family harmony and wealth that maximize the transfer of wealth from generation to generation, including the creative use of life insurance and charitable giving, and the preparation of tax efficient wills and trusts. Mark received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law.
