Gaining Horsepower Seminar Will Provide Economic Growth Tools for City and Town Officials
INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 13, 2014) — BGD is pleased to announce the Gaining Horsepower: Municipal Tools for Economic Growth seminar. Hosted by the firm’s Economic Development Practice Group, this free seminar provides community leaders with tools and resources to better leverage and direct municipal resources to grow local tax base and expand economic opportunities.
Twenty-five firm attorneys will be involved with this free event; the seminar will provide information on a number of topics pertinent to mayors, City and Town attorneys, town managers, council members, utilities directors and other community leaders. The seminar is focused on the most current information and developments in the areas of annexation, public utilities and economic development, with panel discussions and materials designed to explain the municipal levers available for economic growth. The program is intended for communities seeking to realize local economic development goals through creative planning, financing and partnerships.
