Greenebaum Attorneys Elected as Officers of the Kentucky Bar Association Tax Section
LOUISVILLE, KY: Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC is pleased to announce that Ross D. Cohen and Jennifer Y. Barber have been elected to serve as officers for the Kentucky Bar Association’s (KBA) Tax Section. Mr. Cohen will serve as Chair and Ms. Barber will serve as Vice Chair and Treasurer for the 2010-2011 year.
Mr. Cohen resides in the firm’s Louisville office and is a member of the Tax and Finance Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in areas involving federal tax law, including planning and transactional tax issues involving corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. His practice also includes analyzing tax aspects of executive compensation and advising tax-exempt organizations on formation, operational and compliance issues. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky, his J.D. from the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law and his LL.M. from New York University.
Ms. Barber resides in the firm’s Louisville office and is a member of the Tax and Finance Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in state and local tax matters, including tax controversy/litigation, economic development/incentives and governmental affairs. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
