Greenebaum Attorneys Recognized for Leadership: Louisville Bar Association’s Annual Dinner Spotlights Four
LOUISVILLE, KY: Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC recently had four of its attorneys recognized for leadership at the Louisville Bar Association’s (LBA) Annual Dinner.
Laurel S. Doheny was named President-Elect of the Louisville Bar Association and will become the fourth female attorney to serve as President of the LBA. Laurel has served the LBA in past years as Vice President/Treasurer, Secretary, Chair of the Pro Bono Consortium and as Chair and co-chair of the Family Law Section. Exiting President, Janet P. Jakubowicz (the third female attorney from Greenebaum to serve as President of the LBA), addressed members and gave farewell remarks in concluding her term as President. Peggy B. Lyndrup led the organization in 1989 and Margaret E. Keane led the association in 1997.
James W. Herr accepted an award for “Section of the Year” on behalf of the LBA’s Litigation Section, which Jim chaired in 2008. Each year, this award is presented to the section of the LBA that has best drawn upon the talent and resources of its members in order to share information and build new knowledge to keep the section abreast of professional developments. Finally, Jesse A. Mudd, who served as the 2008 Vice Chair of the Litigation Section, was announced as Chair of the Litigation Section for 2009.
