BGD Human Resources Director Rosalyn Hazzard was honored at the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) 2014 Annual Conference & Exposition in Toronto recently.
She received the 2014 Outstanding Association Volunteer Award for her exceptional and continued service to the ALA. According to the ALA President Paul A. Farnsworth, this particular honor is awarded to members who have made significant contributions to ALA through continuous/ongoing volunteer efforts and/or leadership service within the Association.
Hazzard has served in numerous Chapter, Regional and Association leadership positions in ALA and continues to show her dedication to advancing ALA and the legal professional by serving on the newly developed ALA IDEA (Innovation, Development, Engagement and Advancement) Awards Committee. She has served in both regional and national leadership roles, including Regional Officer and Region 3 Director. She also participated on the 2010 Conference Committee.
“It is a great feeling to be recognized for my contributions,” said Hazzard, “I really enjoy working towards the unified goal of the ALA and hope to continue to help in the future.”
The ALA Board of Directors selects the individuals who receive this award and recognize them at the annual conference. The ALA was founded in 1971 to provide support to professionals involved in the management of law firms, corporate legal departments and government legal agencies.
