James Irving Named a Forty Under 40 Leader by Louisville Business First
Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP partner James Irving has recently been honored with a spot on the Louisville Business First Forty Under 40 roster for 2019, where he was recognized as an up-and-coming leader under the age of 40. Irving not only was recognized for being on the cutting edge of his occupation, but also for sharing his time and talents in the community.
Irving practices in a variety of areas including bankruptcy and restructuring matters, purchasing distressed businesses and their assets, as well as commercial litigation. He is also experienced in representing debtors, creditors, committees, trustees, asset-purchasers and interested third parties in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, in addition to representing creditors in foreclosure proceedings and other litigation. Irving has also practiced commercial litigation with a broad range of experience in state and federal courts and before the American Arbitration Association.
To add to the extent of his talents and involvements, Irving was selected for the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges Next Generation Program in 2018 and the American Bankruptcy Institute’s inaugural 40 Under 40 class in 2017. His experience with matters in juvenile justice through is pro bono work has led to opportunities to teach CLEs and edit publications on the subject for the American Bar Association.
Irving, along with his fellow honorees will be recognized for their achievements during the 17th annual Forty Under 40 awards luncheon that will take place on Tuesday, September 17, at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, Kentucky.
