Jeffrey A. McKenzie Re-appointed to Greater Louisville Inc. Board of Directors
LOUISVILLE, KY: Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC is pleased to announce that Jeffrey A. McKenzie has been re-appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI), the Metro Chamber of Commerce. Mr. McKenzie will serve a two-year term.
GLI is private, non-profit organization and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of 55 voting members. GLI is funded through membership dues and contributions for economic and community development activities, a contract with Louisville Metro Government to provide business expansion and attraction services, and various operating grants. Mr. McKenzie is a member of Greenebaum’s Corporate and Commercial Practice Group, Chair of the Economic Development and Incentives Team, Co-Chair of the Life Sciences Team and Past Chairman of the Firm. He has been involved in the successful negotiation of billions of dollars in economic incentives, numerous mergers, acquisitions and other corporate and commercial matters; the acquisition, rezoning, financing, development, leasing and sale of industrial, commercial, recreational and residential properties and air rights; the negotiation and preparation of construction contracts; and numerous appearances before planning commissions and other government agencies and authorities.
Mr. McKenzie also serves on the boards of Leadership Louisville, Leadership Kentucky, The Fund For The Arts, University of Cincinnati College of Law, E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park, and many other community organizations. He received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University and his law degree from University of Cincinnati College of Law.
