Jennifer Cave Recognized as Adult Distinguished Leader by Commerce Lexington, Inc.
Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP would like to congratulate partner Jennifer J. Cave on receiving the Adult Distinguished Leader Award at the 2014 Commerce Lexington Inc. Annual Dinner. The dinner at the Lexington Center recognized Commerce Lexington’s most involved members, volunteers and community leaders from the previous year. Cave was featured in a short congratulatory video that focused on her leadership of the Leadership Lexington class project “Zero Waste”.
To complete this project, Cave’s group partnered with the LFUCG Waste Management Department to draft a zero waste strategic plan for the community, which will guide Lexington’s waste policy for the future. Following the research of several other cities’ zero waste policies, the group conducted a SWOT analysis and then hosted a key stakeholders’ meeting to present findings and make a recommendation.
The Adult Distinguished Leader Award recognizes the class member who demonstrates strong principles and dedication to the concept of community service and embodies the spirit of Leadership Lexington and has a keen understanding of community dynamics and public issues. Cave accepted her award on Feb. 6, 2014.
Cave was recognized in both the Herald Leader and Kentucky Forward for this honor.
