Joshua J. Burress Receives George O. Dix Award

Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP is proud to announce that attorney Joshua J. Burress was recently selected to receive the 2013-2014 George O. Dix Award for his paper, Sovereign Disobedience: The Role of U.S. Courts in Curtailing the Proliferation of Sovereign Default. Burress previously received the 2013-2014 "Best Student Note” award for this thesis, which was published in volume 25 of the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review.

Established in 1963, the annual George O. Dix Award is made available through the generosity of the late George O. Dix of the Terre Haute Bar. The award is given to a graduating student from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law who submitted the best thesis for the stated academic year.

Burress is an attorney in the firm’s Indianapolis office and a member of the Litigation Practice Group, where he assists with general business litigation matters.
