Law Students Join Bingham Greenebaum Doll for 2013 Summer Associate Program


Four students currently pursuing legal degrees from universities across the country have been accepted to Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP’s 2013 summer associate program. Erin Radefeld, Whitney Ising, Micah Revell and Kevin Havelda will spend several weeks working with the firm’s attorneys in order to gain a broad range of valuable legal skills before returning to their studies in the fall.

“Our summer associate program provides law students the opportunity to see what the legal field looks like from the perspective of a progressive business law firm,” said Tobin McClamroch, Co-Chairman of the firm. “We recognize the mutual benefit that can be derived from a successful summer associate program and are pleased to welcome Erin, Whitney, Micah and Kevin to our firm this summer.”

Erin Radefeld is a student at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and is currently involved in the legal community as a legal research assistant to Professor Michael J. Pitts and as a guardian ad litem for Kid’s Voice of Indiana. Radefeld obtained her undergraduate degree from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis. She will serve as a summer associate in the firm’s Indianapolis office.

Whitney Ising, a student at The University of Chicago Law School, is a member of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team and International Law Society. Ising obtained her undergraduate degree, with honors, summa cum laude, in international affairs from the University of Georgia. She will serve as a summer associate in the firm’s Louisville, Ky. office.

Micah Revell is a student at Emory University School of Law and serves as a staff member with the Emory Law Journal. Revell served as a judicial intern for the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and also worked on a Supreme Court advocacy project in which he contributed to multiple briefs filed with the Supreme Court of the United States. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Boyce College, magna cum laude. Revell will serve as a summer associate in the firm’s Louisville, Ky. office.

Kevin Havelda is a student at the University of Kentucky College of Law. Prior to law school, Havelda obtained a master’s degree in education from Hunter College Graduate School of Education and was a founding teacher of a middle school in a low-income community in Brooklyn, N.Y. Havelda completed a congressional internship under Ben Chandler in 2006 and obtained his undergraduate degree from Centre College in 2008. He will serve as a summer associate in the firm’s Lexington, Ky. office.
