Learn what certifications your manufacturing business needs to become a qualified supplier

What does your manufacturing business need to do to become a qualified supplier? Meet buyers from major manufacturing companies to learn what it takes to be a supplier across different industries. On June 16, 2011, Conexus Indiana is sponsoring “Certification to Qualification: What your manufacturing business really needs to become a qualified supplier.” Presented by panels of manufacturing buyers and suppliers, the event will help manufacturers learn what certifications are needed and how to attain them. Supplier panelists will share their company’s personal experience with obtaining their certifications. The presentations will be followed by a speed networking session for buyers and suppliers. Representatives from Rolls Royce, Cummins Inc., Brevini USA, Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Infinity Molding & Assembly Inc., Dart Controls, and Fort Wayne Metals will present. Procurement officers from these and other buyers will be participating in the networking session. The event, part of the Conexus Indiana Manufacturing Connections quarterly series, will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the downtown Hilton Hotel, 120 W. Market Street, Indianapolis. A cocktail reception hosted by Fineline Printing Group will follow the event at 5:30 p.m.

“Indiana manufacturers can increase their qualifications for potential supplier contracts by obtaining the proper certifications,” said Steve Dwyer, President of Conexus Indiana. “Certifications not only provide Hoosier manufacturers with much needed credentials, but they also provide guidelines to better their manufacturing processes.”

This session is the second of four events in Conexus Indiana’s Manufacturing Connections 2011 series. All events are sponsored by the law firm of Bingham McHale LLP. The event is free; however, you must register to attend.  Registration is available at or by contacting Deborah Brechtel at 317-968-5333.
