Fowler to Lead State Bars Litigation Section
Phillip Fowler, Bingham McHale, has been elected chair of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Litigation Section. The Litigation Section has over 1,200 member lawyers and is one of the largest sections of the State Bar.
Fowler focuses his practice in the representation of corporate clients and their owners, officers and directors in federal and state court litigation and in alternative dispute resolution, and also represents a variety of clients in other complex litigation. He actively participates in the Indianapolis Bar Association, and is the vice chair of the Litigation Section of the Indiana State Bar Association. He also does volunteer work for the Indianapolis Zoo, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the Justice Center Task Force and other local non-profit organizations. He obtained a B.S. with High Distinction from the Indiana University School of Business in 1994, where he was awarded the Leete Thompson Memorial Scholarship. He earned his J.D. from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1997. During law school, he served as the law clerk for the Honorable David Wells of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.
