Philip C. Eschels elected a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers
LOUISVILLE, KY - Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC has announced that Philip C. Eschels, a Member in the firm’s Louisville office, has been elected a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. The Fellows of the College are dedicated to the study and enhancement of professional ethics in the practice of labor and employment law and to the improvement of the delivery and quality of labor and employment legal services. Eschels is the only Kentucky attorney elected to the class of 2007.
Eschels is a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group, and the Covenant Not-to-Compete and Trade Secrets Team Chair. He represents employers in defending against employment-related claims in both federal and state courts. He represents clients involving covenants not-to-compete and the protection of trade secrets. Eschels also counsels employers and trains management personnel concerning a wide range of employment-related topics including harassment, how to prevent discrimination lawsuits and how to minimize potential liability when hiring, disciplining and firing employees.
In addition to his other civic involvement, Eschels currently serves as Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of Actors Theatre of Louisville. He received an undergraduate degree from Concordia College, a master’s degree from Ball State University, and a J.D. degree, with honors, from Indiana University School of Law.
