Rick Anderson Elected to 4th Year as Fund for the Arts Board Chair
At its annual board meeting on June 24, 2008, the Fund for the Arts Board of Directors elected P. Richard “Rick” Anderson, Jr, a Member of Greenebaum Doll and McDonald, as Board Chairman for an unprecedented 4th year – longest of any Board Chair in the Fund’s history.
Phil McHugh, 2008 Fund for the Arts Campaign Chair and Executive Committee member noted, “Under Rick’s leadership and guidance, the Fund has solidified its role as the leading arts advocacy and support organization in the region. From the creation of the Partnership for Creative Economies, to stabilizing arts groups with gap funding, from the acquisition and renovation of ArtSpace and the W. L. Lyons Brown Theatre to supporting arts groups in developing new and more sustainable business models, Rick’s provided a steady hand, wise counsel, and ongoing support.”
