Robert Brown Co-Authors Book, Doing Business in Vietnam

(Thompson Reuters/West). This is the secondDoing Business book Mr. Brown has written this year – the first was Doing Business in South Korea.
Doing Business in Vietnam summarizes the laws, regulations, procedures, customs, and standards for doing business in Vietnam. It provides not only an overview of the critical issues necessary for business people and lawyers interested in doing business in Vietnam but also action points and detailed descriptions on how one can establish a business; invest; manufacture, sell, or distribute products; and employ and manage a work force in Vietnam. Mr. Brown’s co-author is Ambassador Nguyen Quy Binh, an attorney and Chief Executive Officer of the ORAS Group. He is also a director NBC Law Co., Ltd. and a member of the Vietnam International Arbitration Court.
Mr. Brown is a member of Greenebaum’s Corporate and Commercial Practice Group and is the firm’s International Team Chair and China Team Chair. He has worked closely with international companies as an investment banker and attorney, serving both in-house and as an outside advisor, and has passed all four parts of the CPA exam. His previous experience includes assignments in London, New York City, Tokyo, San Francisco and San Diego. Mr. Brown is admitted as an attorney in New York, Washington, D.C., California and Kentucky, and is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, and Hong Kong. From 1991-1993 he was admitted as a foreign lawyer in Japan. He has taught law and economics courses at the law schools of the University of San Francisco and University of California Berkeley, as well as business and economic courses at Bellarmine University School of Business.
