Roxana S. Bell Sworn-In as Marion County Bar Association President
Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP attorney Roxana S. Bell has officially taken office as Marion County Bar Association (MCBA) President. Her swearing-in and installation ceremony was held at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and Courthouse on Jan. 29, 2016, with Judge Tanya Walton Pratt performed her oath. Bell previously served on the MCBA Board of Directors in 2014 and as President-Elect in 2015.
Bell is an attorney in the firm’s Indianapolis office where she focuses her practice in the areas of discrimination defense, general employment and workplace policies. Bell was named as a 2015 “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Indiana Lawyer and was recently selected for the 2015 Collaborative Bar Leadership Academy (CBLA). She has also been selected for the 2014-2016 American Bar Association Section of Labor & Employment Young Lawyers Division Fellowship Program. Bell also serves on the Young Lawyers Division Executive Board of the National Bar Association.
The MCBA was founded in 1925 as the Marion County Lawyers’ Club. In 1942, the name was changed to the Marion County Bar Association, or MCBA. The MCBA is committed to enhancing the professional development of minority attorneys within the Indianapolis legal community by providing members with quality CLEs and networking opportunities to advance their legal careers. MCBA is and has been a proud affiliate of the National Bar Association for several decades.
