Two Greenebaum Attorneys Join American Board of Certification's Board of Directors
LOUISVILLE, KY: Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC is pleased to announce that two of its attorneys, John W. Ames and Claude R. “Chip” Bowles Jr., have been elected to the board of the American Board of Certification, a national nonprofit organization that certifies attorneys in business bankruptcy, consumer bankruptcy and creditors' rights law.
The American Board of Certification is sponsored by the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Commercial Law League of America. John is the current president of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and Chip is on the organization’s board of directors. Both John and Chip are resident in Greenebaum’s Louisville office.
John is a member of Greenebaum’s Tax and Finance Practice Group, and is Co-Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Workout Team. John works exclusively in the business reorganization process, both in Chapter 11's and state law work outs. He represents debtors, as well as creditors, both secured and unsecured.
Chip also is a member of Greenbaum’s Tax and Finance Practice Group, and concentrates his practice in the area of bankruptcy law, distressed asset sales, professional compensation, ethical issues in bankruptcy and workout situations, representation of non-attorney professionals and debtor and creditor rights.
