World Trade Center Kentucky Receives Certificate of Appreciation for Achievement in Trade from Under Secretary Francisco Sanchez
The World Trade Center Kentucky (WTC-KY) was recently recognized by Francisco Sanchez, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, U.S. Department of Commerce. During a ceremony held at United Parcel Service Inc.’s Global Operations Center, the World Trade Center Kentucky received a Certificate of Appreciation for Achievement in Trade from Sanchez.
In its March 2013 Trade Bulletin, the WTC-KY announces its recognition and receipt of the certificate. Sanchez congratulated the WTC-KY during the ceremony for its efforts to promote and expand Kentucky exports through its trade consulting, trade education and international business missions. Each year, the WTC-KY responds to more than 500 service requests and organizes international trade education programs covering topics ranging from international sales contracts to market entry strategies.
Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP partner Robert L. Brown, who is Chairman of the World Trade Center Kentucky, was present during the ceremony as part of the group to accept the certificate. Brown is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Transactional Practice Group and has experience working closely with international companies both as an investment banker and attorney.
