Travis is an attorney in the Estate Planning Department. He assists clients in developing estate and disability plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other advance directives. Travis also assists clients in the administration of estates and trusts and in matters related to clients’ small business needs.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Travis spent two summers with BGD as a Summer Associate. He earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was a member of the St. Thomas More Society. While in law school, Travis worked for a year at the Notre Dame Tax Clinic where he represented low income individuals involved in federal and state tax controversies.
Travis earned his undergraduate degrees in Economics and History from the University of Louisville. Travis was selected to receive the McConnell Scholarship and participated in the program’s academic enrichment program focused on engaging with leading scholars and authors in the fields of history, philosophy, classics, and political science. While attending the University of Louisville, he was extensively involved in organizing and leading community service projects focused on providing assistance to home-bound senior citizens. He was also a Harlan Scholar, Trustees Scholar, Honors Scholar, a member of Sigma Chi, and on the Dean’s List.
