Sarah is an attorney in the Litigation Department and Labor & Employment Practice Group. Prior to joining BGD, Sarah was an associate with a national labor and employment defense firm.
Sarah has advised clients on a variety of labor and employment issues, including leave and accommodation processes, compliance with wage and hour laws, and arbitration agreements. She has also represented clients in administrative proceedings before the EEOC, OSHA, and Kentucky Commission on Human Rights and defended them in state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth. Before entering private practice, Sarah served as a law clerk to the Hon. David L. Bunning, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, Covington Division for three years and the Hon. Joseph M. Hood, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, Lexington Division, for one year.
Sarah earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2013 and her B.A. in Foreign Language & International Economics, summa cum laude, and B.A. in French, in 2010.
