Overview

Amy L. Gilliatt has nearly ten years of corporate law experience related to business transactional matters. Amy’s practice focuses largely on commercial and real estate lending, representing both lending institutions and borrowers from negotiation through closing of financing transactions. She also frequently provides counsel to business owners on a variety of issues, including structuring and closing transactions, strategic planning, entity selection and formation, and general business advisory matters. In addition, Amy dedicates a portion of her practice to counseling clients on contract drafting, negotiation, interpretation, and mitigating risk.

Amy enjoys working diligently and aggressively on behalf of her clients. She focuses on the purpose of each transaction and how it relates to her client's business goals. Her extensive experience related to transactional work has provided her with significant insight and exposure to a variety of business issues confronted by businesses of all sizes.

Amy earned her undergraduate degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, where she graduated with high distinction with concentrations in Marketing and Computer Information Systems. She then earned her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
